Gabriella Hoffman I grew up in Eastern KY. The coal mining company strip-mined the area and ignored safety regulations which led to deaths, injuries and Black Lung. When they were done, they left without doing any land restoration. The equipment was left to rust. Pure greed. Not regulations.
