We conducted a meta-analysis comparing prophylactic TAE vs standard therapy in high-risk NVUGIB. Findings: P-TAE did not significantly reduce rebleeding or mortality but further studies are needed. Grateful to my co-authors & especially Dr. Tuba Esfandyari, MD, MSc for her mentorship.

Challenging mucosal injury during #GPOEM successfully managed with tunnel-side clip closure after luminal closure failed, preventing leak & surgery. Highlights an important alternative closure approach. Grateful to be part of this innovative technique. Salih Samo MD, MSci, FACP||Esophagologist
