Now we have three contemporary trials suggesting PCI of stable CAD lesions prevents spontaneous MI—#IschemiaTrial, #fame2, #completetrial—not definitive, but very provocative! #ISCHEMIA

This is the methodology that we used in the ISCHEMIA trial to assess complete anatomic and ischemic revascularization. It's impact on clinical and QOL outcomes in ISCHEMIA will be reported in approximately two weeks at ACC.

Important trial filling an evidence gap for PCI in LV dysfunction! Look forward to the upcoming discussion and future substudies.

The concept of civilization is often associated with various tangible artifacts and advancements, such as tools, architecture, or systems of governance. However, anthropologist Margaret Mead presented a different perspective when she was asked about the first sign of civilization

Congratulations to Rasha Al-Lamee and her colleagues on #ORBITA2, which shows the “true” (placebo controlled) effects of PCI on “angina”! High level of residual “angina” suggests we need to do better identifying when “angina” is truly angina —history and ETTs should help! #AHA23
