Last Friday, I had a great time at Stockholm University - on Dr Roger Cattaneo's PhD defence committee as the Opponent. Fantastic work on chip-scale coherent THz devices with superconductors and Josephson junction array.

Dr KavehDelfanazari of James Watt School of Engineering, Uni. of Glasgow has received a prestigious The Royal Society Industry Fellowship to support his work on next-generation quantum electronic hardware in partnership with SEEQC. Read more here: gla.ac.uk/news/headline_…

The four-year project will focus on enabling on-chip integration of ultrafast coherent microwave emitters and quantum processors operating at cold temperatures, a key capability for energy-efficient, scalable quantum computing control, communication, and distribution.
