The Kimpact Development Initiative NEVER Project created a multi-stakeholder electoral security framework across Bayelsa, Imo and Kogi states. Data was collected and analyzed to identify trends and make recommendations for reforms in election security. Download the final report here ⬇️.

Yesterday at presentation of Kimpact Development Initiative final report on the pre election violence and security assessments ahead of the 2023 Bayelsa, Imo, and Kogi elections. Yesterday, our communication officer, Olufemi Adegoke represented our organization Kimpact Development Initiative Public Presentation of the Nigeria Election Violence Resolution (NEVER) Final Report on the 2023 Bayelsa, Imo, And Kogi Off-Cycle Governorship Election.

At the presentation of NEVER report, Team Lead, Kimpact Development Initiative, BukolaIdowu, facilitated a panel discussion on 'The potential for early warning signals to mitigate electoral violence'. Speaking, were the INEC RECs of Bayelsa, Imo & Kogi States, and the Comm. of Police, Kogi State.
Earlier today, Kimpact Development Initiative presented the key findings from the NEVER Report of the 2023 Bayelsa, Kogi and Imo states Governorship elections.
The event had relevant stakeholders discuss the findings from the report, & give recommendations for subsequent elections in Nigeria.
During the Kogi, Bayelsa and Imo states governorship elections cycle, Kimpact Development Initiative tracked, documented and mitigated electoral violence.
The final report of these monitoring efforts would be presented to the public on Tuesday, March 26, 2024.
