We had a successful winter party for SFU Criminology and I got to take a photo with my first grad theory class (minus a few). It was so fun to connect with them and I look forward to their future paths in the school.
Excited to share that my thesis on the diffusion of responsibility in instances of group academic dishonesty, written alongside my amazing supervisor Zach Rowan has been accepted for publication in the journal Deviant Behavior! You can read it here: tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.10…
First roundtable completed! Had a great discussion about becoming qualitative research methodologists at Western Society of Criminology conference
And that’s a wrap on my first conference Western Society of Criminology ! Happy to have met so many amazing people and spend some time with my cohort and fellow grad students. Special thanks to my supervisor, Zach Rowan for pushing me to present!
SFU Criminology represented at Western Society of Criminology last week in Long Beach. It was great to connect with my collaborators in the sun and present exciting new research!
