Today is #FathersDay in the UK. Whilst Noël did not have children of his own, he was a father to many as president of the Actor's Orphanage, a position he held for 22 years.

The boy in this wonderful photo was Johnny Morris (but not the Animal Magic man!). The photographer was in a rush so Johnny had to put on pyjamas over his clothes. He recalled that Coward and Dietrich wore the same cologne.

ACT gave actor-parents more than £18,000 in December. We contributed to mostly childcare costs so that actors weren't out of pocket whilst working. Its so important that actor parents feel supported financially when working acting jobs which can be low paid and long hours
