I'm SO SO excited to say that ALEX VS AXEL is Waterstones Children's Book of the Month!! It's an absolute dream come true and I'm over the moon!
It's been a challenging decision for the judges this year with so many fantastic books! Judge and co-founder Viveka Alvestrand discusses 'The Hare-Shaped Hole' (@WriterPoetJohn and Thomas Docherty 🏴🇪🇺/Quarto Kids)
and its position as an 'important' book on grief and loss.
Have you read this brand new beauty from Michelle Harrison? It's a quirky, creepy, time-twisty murder mystery. I loved it! 🧡
Fabulous, fantastic and funny, I really enjoyed Alex Vs Axel: The Impossible Quests by the brilliant Sam Copeland. With shades of Terry Pratchett, The Princess Bride and Tolkien (if he'd carried on writing comedy after Chapter One of The Hobbit!) readers are going to LOVE this!
Just read Where the Heart Should Be by the amazing Sarah Crossan. What an incredible book. The story of Nell, her family and her forbidden love affair during the Irish Famine is so immersive and brilliantly told, and all in 28,000 words. It will stay with me forever.
I am so very happy to announce that WHERE THE HEART SHOULD BE is publishing in the USA 🇺🇸 in January with Greenwillow Books Harper Collins and my BRILLIANT editor from the early days Martha Mihalick is in charge! Cover reveal soon— it’s a jewel.
Harry Hill's brand new podcast 'Are We There Yet?' is out now!🎧⭐️
Join Harry Hill as he delves into the childhood memories of comedians, celebrities and cultural icons! First two eps are out now with guests Alan Carr and Ravneet Gill!
Available wherever you get your pods! 🚘🎧
Kicked Out is out in hardback in America!!
Thank you so much for making this book the best it could be and for everything you do Stacy Whitman and Lee & Low Books 💜
We’re thrilled to announce our new festive family show, Ballet Shoes 🤩
