Our first graders went to the Oakley Police Department, the park, and Grocery Outlet. They learned so much!

There are days when I feel like I need to speak up about certain issues at meetings and then I wonder if I'm taking up too much space.

Then I remember that I need to take up space and that my opinions matter.

Today’s #DisabledWomensHistory honoree is women rights activist Rosa May Billinghurst. Rosa May was a British suffragette who contracted polio as a child. She attended many protests to secure voting rights for women in the early 1900s. #WomensHistoryMonth
