About now, 15 years ago this morning, Mark and I were crossing a road when we were opened up on with a machine gun at 80m. He died. I survived. As the years pass, in a country that longs to sink into amnesia, his sacrifice actually grows. Children, family, love. #neverforget

Over the last twelve months I've been to Israel, inside Gaza, many times to Ukraine and other countries, assisting in developing Veterans Affairs. I'll be on stage tomorrow at @nevillholtfest with the brilliant Rachel Johnson from 1330.
