This is constitutionally illiterate. We live in a parliamentary not a presidential system. We don’t “elect” First Ministers but governments.

And a reminder: Labour “imposed” an “unelected” First Minister in Wales two weeks ago.

Whoever becomes the new leader of The SNP my advice would be to steer well clear of the Greens. They have added nothing to the cause of independence & even today they are making conciliatory noises to the SNP. It's all about power not independence with them.

I'd already decided my second vote would not go to the Scottish Greens again because they've been such a disappointment with regard to issues such a home heating. Problem is who to vote for now? Daft going SNP 1 & 2 so it could be Alba.
