Travis was such a special person: I admired his optimism and his “can do approach” to things. And he got things done: at Tufts, he invented a handheld safety suturing device and as a very active member of Society of Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists | SCA he contributed so much to make us better.

The SCA extends our deepest sympathies on the passing of Dr. William Travis Lau. Dr. Lau leaves a legacy of immeasurable contributions to our specialty and Society. An SCA member has established a Go Fund Me page: bit.ly/TravisLau
