A great sign of our times is that Mary Oliver's 'tell me what it is you plan to do with your one wild & precious life?' is often quoted as a form of pressure to do some grand thing, when the grand thing Oliver did in her poem is watch grasshoppers, & something akin to prayer.

The overturning of Weinstein's rape conviction isn't a failure of the criminal justice system but rather a feature of it. Weinstein's lawyers got an appeal by arguing too many victims testified which biased the judgement.
