‼️ A part-time GP is, in reality, working full-time hours. ⏰ Data shows that the burden of an unrelenting workload is leading part-time GPs to work 10 to 12-hour days. How can a burned out general practice continue to serve patients to the best of its ability?

Those MPs saying there is no alternative to remortgage costs rising by £3k (average) pa, have their second homes paid for by you. Along with their energy; travel & subsidised food & drink. Let’s scrap subsidies for MPs. See if they are still ok with interest rate rises.

We shouldn't need to add 'access to a toilet at all times' to our Schools Reasonable Adjustments document. But it seems we do. Locked bathrooms other than for very short windows of times are anxiety-inducing for neurodivergent pupils. A 'toilet pass' does NOT require a GP letter.

Give GPs a fair number of patients to see per session, dedicated time to do home visits and admin, time for professional development (equivalent of SpA in the consultant contract) and retention wouldn't be an issue, people would work more sessions and continuity would improve.

Relatively elderly patient asked for GP home visit for ongoing chronic issue. GP arrived to find patient wasn’t in. Patient later advised was at another appointment with a hcp that doesn’t ‘offer’ visits. Fair? Or serious undervaluing GP resource? Discuss…. #TeamGP
