Last marathon post (sorry, can’t help it!) but another reason it’s so special to me is that moments after this picture was taken (2016 after my first London Marathon), my now husband proposed to me. 🥰

I’m welling up watching the marathon just like back in 2019. I was sobbing; the photographer made me try to smile for the photo. Marathons aren’t for people like me, or so I thought. The feeling of taking yourself to the limit physically and mentally is like no other.

My brave nephew Kai - age 22 has received bad news that surgery, chemotherapy and Radiotherapy cannot treat his metastatic osteosarcoma lung cancer. Are there any hospitals anywhere in the world who can help him, clinical trials / immunotherapy? Anything? Time is of the essence
