Really feel like Pettersson is going to step up and set the tone in this one after a bit of a cold spell to end the year. Had some great games vs. NSH earlier in the year and we know what he's capable of at his best.

I wouldn't say this. While some private models do it better, public xG gets close enough once you get a lot of shots in it. I think it's just more that small samples are volatile, and you won't get much out of single-game xG besides entertainment and bookmarks to check tape
