UPDATE: The rescue in Sooke Hills near Sugarloaf is ongoing. Metchosin EOC SAR members are on scene alongside us and transportation to the muster zone is being assisted by ChiefDunlop and crd_bc . Thanks to all involved. Updates when available. #yyj #bcsara

UPDATE 2120 hours: About 30 JDF and Metchosin Search and Rescue members are currently involved in the stretcher carry near Sugarloaf. Teams are expected to be in the field for another few hours. BC Ambulance is also on scene awaiting our teams in the field. #yyj #bcsara

UPDATE 22:45 hours: The subject has been handed over to BC Ambulance and all teams are making their way back to base. No updates to follow. #yyj #bcsara
