Here's the thing, I don't ever really comment on stuff like this, but glorifying this moment is just not okay. If this were a female reporter... people would call it unprofessional... but it's a male reporter which means people will find it funny and tweet about how great this

If a woman covering a game started hitting on fans & asking for their numbers on TV they would be crucified on the internet & fired. But here you see this inappropriate behavior being celebrated as “the standard” by a slew of men in the comments. Misogyny is alive & well!

If the roles were reversed, people would be having a very different reaction to this… 🤥 0/10 work

Imagine if a female reporter did anything like this. Career over. Pretty brutal to see it glorified by the broadcast.

LOVE the fact ESPN and others are spotlighting Ken Griffey Jr.’s photos at the Masters. But why not make this standard practice across the board? So many talented photographers capture incredible moments at major events, yet their work often goes unrecognized. Just a thought.
