Decoded: "my magical product will not replace humans, but humans who use my magical product will replace those who don't." This is a standard snake-oil sales pitch that's thousands of years old.

For all the hype on AI-generated 3D games: Google invested billions in Stadia and it flopped due to latency/quality issues. AI games fix none of that, but they need $160,000+ of datacenter GPUs to handle one single player. The outcome of this experiment is very easy to predict.

VFX artist gets hired by client, finds out later in project they’re using AI, discovers that it takes longer to type prompts in AI in Google VEO to get what client wants just building out the scene in Blender, but client goes “no no no, use AI!” Very common story I’m hearing
