I keep thinking about the parts in Oscar Micheaux's 'Within Our Gates' where he shows you what happened and then cuts to the media lying about it.

The way WKCR journalists are handling copaganda (insisting on confirmation and verification before repeating tropes and rumors) versus the way CNN is not only uncritically repeating police statements but marveling at their tactics is truly something to behold.
