This week, we engaged with various KRI parties to emphasize the importance of conducting timely and inclusive elections, crucial for democratic legitimacy, making progress on key issues and regional stability.

Thanks to Alqosh Mayor Lara Zara & Father John for hosting us for an insightful discussion covering various topics, including minorities and migration. We were truly impressed by the Rabban Hormizd Monastery, a significant landmark of the Chaldean Church in a spectacular setting.

During the Yazidi New Year, Çarşema Sor, Yazidis decorate their front doors with flowers, coloured eggshells, and dough. We extend our best wishes to our Yazidi colleagues and friends on this special occasion. May the new year bring justice, healing, and hope.

Amazing experience! We were delighted to be part of the opening ceremony for the Syriac Heritage Festival yesterday in #Ankawa . The event celebrated the rich cultures of the Syriac, Assyrian, Chaldean, and Armenian communities, showcasing locally made handiworks.

🥾 ⛰️ 😃 getting out and about and exploring the KRI at the weekend with some UK in Erbil colleagues is a great privilege. Today we went walking in Shaqlawa and visited the Rabban Boya Shrine. We even allowed a visiting UK in Iraq 🇬🇧🇮🇶 colleague to join us!
