Fun for all the family today at Wombwell Park, with entertainment, arts & crafts and refreshments. All part of the free holiday programme Barnsley Council are running through the summer. Thanks to the fabulous Friends of Wombwell Park for their support 👏🏻
Along with Wombwell and Darfield colleagues, attended the PACT meeting tonight at Shipcroft Flats. Issues raised with @BarnsleySouthNPT included off road bikes, antisocial behaviour and partnership working. Message was loud and clear: report, report, report: southyorkshire.police.uk

Pleasure to visit St Mary’s Wombwell this afternoon for the church open day. We enjoyed a Swedish Fika Cafe (coffee with something sweet!) and an art display from GCSE pupils at Netherwood Academy All in aid of raising vital funds to support renovation works at St Mary’s!
I very much enjoyed baking for our Fika style event in Church yesterday, raising £456 for our Chancel renovations, traditionally a choice of 7 cakes or bakes, Fika is the Swedish word for 'coffee with something sweet' The Baking Nanna ❤️karen Mary Elizabeth❤️ Robert Allen #twitterbakealong
Productive Wombwell Ward Alliance meeting in Friends of Wombwell Cemetery Chapel tonight. Good discussion on sporting activities, community gardens, winter wellbeing and - despite the September sun! - planning for Christmas 😁🎄
