There will be several pieces of this carving and each one will have its challenges. Than helmet was a particularly fun challenge to tackle!

I carved this cradle for our first baby out of basswood. The rocking mechanism is driven entirely by magnets, which makes it perfectly silent. We are now expecting our fourth cygnet, so the swan will sail yet again!
