Declan is everything you want in a quarterback. Tough, smart, and coachable. Great footwork, accurate, and has the “it” factor. Not to mention he’s an awesome student and loved by everyone in our school and team. He makes coaching easy and I’m extremely grateful to coach him.

Declan Battle made it official today on National Signing Day. Battle signed his letter of intent to play football at Washburn University next season. Battle was an all-league and all-state quarterback for Louisburg last season. Congrats Declan and best of luck at Washburn!
