I was a guest on the @wpedecode podcast and we took a deep-dive into a recent project I did with ecommerce on the Jamstack with Woo. Talked about: * DX stuff * Trade offs * Extending the GraphQL for WordPress WooGraphQL APIs * Auth and the block editor developers.wpengine.com/podcast/9109673

A friend of mine is looking for a frontend contractor to set up a Shopify Shop + Website + Blog with Gatsby and some headless CMS. Anybody available? 👋

I was always anti redux because I simply didn't understand it and felt overwhelmed. I'm working on a new codebase that incorporates this paradigm and the Mosh has been a huge help. It's an excellent course.

Took Playwright for a spin today. Super surprised how quickly I was able to get up and running and write some tests. So far, so good! Just got to get used to debugging failed tests.

Started writing some Python at work. So cool to explore new languages. Got me curious to learn more BE languages. Checking out Go this weekend as some of our services are written in them. Wohoo!

I wouldn't say I'm full TDD yet, but def on that path. Interesting pattern that I'm seeing is that most of my PRs are seem like they're 80% test files changes and 20% actual logic change. Pretty cool.

It’s almost like a game now. First thing I tend to do on a new story is break a test. So cool when I can get it turning green again.

Was taking a tutorial in Go and the instructor was manually testing things as they went along. I’m not hard-core TDD, but I kept thinking how much time they would save by writing their tests first. Was a bit painful to watch all that back and forth.
