It's quite rare to see Bill and Joe in a composite photo with Jonny. I feel a sense of discomfort with the character's sense of scale.

Discovered online the oldest known three-dimensional toy of a Jonny Quest character and Bandit toy currently confirmed. An officially licensed HB product bearing copyright notices, made in Japan for the Japanese market. I'll cover it in detail another time.

The oldest known three-dimensional JQ character merchandise actually dates back to the original series' broadcast era and was manufactured outside the United States. Furthermore, it represents the most accurate and highest-quality Bandit Toy products from before the 1980s.

The 64JQ maintained a consistent level of animation quality throughout, though it's true that later episodes featured less of the comic-strip-like black shading on characters seen in the early episodes. But I think the character sketches are more polished in the later episodes.
