When you’re a high school football coach, your actions speak louder than any speech you give. These kids see through everything — they can spot authenticity from a mile away. No one expects perfection, but if you’re teaching discipline, you owe it to them to live it.

Entitlement will destroy a culture. One of your most important jobs as a coach is to eliminate it before it creeps in. Build a standard where everything is earned. Make it known. Visible. Practiced daily. Because once entitlement shows up, effort disappears.

There are athletes everywhere who never loved a sport until they had that one coach who truly cared for them. Be that coach. Use your knowledge, passion & platform to inspire. The sport doesn’t matter—what matters is the impact. You’re in a position to change kids’ lives forever.

Some coaches don’t realize that they’re the problem. A player loses their love for the game, starts thinking about quitting. Then a new coach, a new culture & the spark returns. They didn’t change, but their environment did. Coaches, you can be the reason they quit or love again!

COACHES: If you want players to "trust the process", then make sure that you have a good process and, most importantly, you are somebody worth trusting.

Quit trying to BE right… and do what you know is RIGHT!!! Shoutout #DanCampbell for knowing something wasn’t working & instead of being stubborn to show he was right with new hire, he made a change bc he knew it was right! And connected to that, it doesn’t mean the new hire
