Exxon has announced the closure of Altona refinery in Australia. It has 90 kb/d of capacity and will be converted to a terminal. More fuel imports into Australia.

Galp is permanently closing 110 kb/d Porto refinery. This is one of the least complex refineries in Europe and its closure should help secure future of Galp's more complex 220 kb/d Sines refinery.
