Rising demand alone isn’t enough to maintain momentum. The changeover to summer gasoline is complete, the absence of that catalyst is big. Refinery maintenance is wrapping up, & soon, only increasing demand, which has been disappointing, is left. Air is coming out of the ballon.

had been surging in the mid-Atlantic and NE USA markets because of the change to summer gasoline. Most of the increase should be behind us, and while there may be slight increases, we should be done with the rise (due to the switch) by later this week.
