When I graduated from business school, almost no one on Wall Street corporate finance looked like me. My mother and grandparents told me that I had to work twice as hard to be considered half as good. I was one of the first but, since then, I made sure I was never the only.

I’ve been a have and I’ve been a have not. The struggles so many New York families are going through right now are not something I’ve read about it -- they’re struggles I’ve lived.

For 30 years, I’ve served on the board of De La Salle Academy because I want every kid to have the same shot at a quality education that I had. Too many mostly black and brown kids across our city aren’t getting the education they deserve and the pandemic is only making things worse.

I believe in serving the city and its institutions. That's why I’ve served on the boards of NewYork-Presbyterian, NY Public Library, Whitney Museum, Studio Museum in Harlem and more. Now I'm hoping to use my experience to solve problems across our city and improve the lives of every New Yorker.

NY is experiencing life defining crises. The already big job of Mayor has become even more critical. I will use my proven leadership & managerial expertise to revitalize the City we love & guide us through the toughest challenges we’ve ever faced. Join at rayformayor.com

It’s truly insane that Trump lost by 7 million votes nationwide, lost Electoral College 306-232, lost PA/WI/MI by 3x as much as he won in 2016, nearly a month has passed since election & he won’t concede and nearly every major Republican still refuses to say that it’s over
