Here's a bit of good news: a gauge north of Blanco has recorded 4.05' in an hour. All that water will eventually flow into Lake Travis, and this will help those lake levels. We're no fans of flooding but at least this is good, right?

If you're north of Blanco along US-281, y'all better not be on the highway right now. We're tracking two inch diameter hail, and a considerable tag from the NWS Austin/San Antonio seems likely.

Not a lot of rain from our LCRA gauges so far, but a rainfall estimate in Kendall County, south of our viewing area, is recording roughly 1-2' of rain, which can be beneficial for our drought monitor. It won't show up until next week, but it could be a big deal.
