There is so much to be inspired by here, whether you’re in #design, #scicomm, #publichealth, #behaviorchange, #teamrhetoric or adjacent domains. I’m excited to see this type of thinking make its way into a peer reviewed actionable format that can benefit so many!

As a doctor of philosophy in Rhetoric, I feel I have one key contribution to this era’s culture of fandom: You can absolutely be dedicated to a discourse while thinking its canon is absurd or irrelevant. In fact, should a fandom span millennia, it’ll be required some centuries.

I'm psyched to share this fun conversation from the latest episode of Experience by Design Podcast, which was almost titled: "Chief Design Strategy Officer At Local Design Agency Hates Empathy & Design Thinking;" you'll have to listen to understand why: experiencexdesign.com/episodes/jen-b…

If you're trying to heal a system damaged by the humans that comprise it, what if instead of a myopic focus on incentivizing pro-system behaviors, you try building people's awareness/connectedness to/within the system itself and let the system do what systems do? Just a thought.

1.5 days into #SDGC22 and it’s pretty safe to say that #SystemsThinking and #FuturesThinking have arrived to the #ServiceDesign party and are here to stay.

Talented and hard-working people help pull others up to their level The worst people in every room are always focused on gatekeeping because they don't believe they can hold on to what they have through doing a good job, and so put all their energy into keeping everyone else out

Hello, #teamrhetoric -- what books would you recommend for a friend who has no rhetoric background but has grown interested to learn about it, and requested "best go-to rhetoric book(s) that won't put me to sleep" ? All *my* usual suggestions are likely to put him to sleep.. 😆

Designers love to make things simpler. It is often much better - though much harder - to keep a thing complex but make it easy to understand.
