I've been contacted by a whistleblower researcher for information. This is specifically in respect of doctors who have tragically taken their own lives after NHS whistleblowing. We are all aware of GMC investigations & suicide, & indeed suicide in the PO prosecution scandal. 1.

What has been the key driver for #patientsafety change over the last 2 decades? I’d argue mostly it’s been patients & families who have pushed for change following tragic events - often at huge personal cost and against a system that hasn’t wanted to listen.
