I’m sorry for all those NIH who have lost their jobs. NIH has funded me for 25 years. 8 of those in UK. NIH is not perfect, but I have always felt it is trying to do the right thing. To fund the best science and to minimise bias and conflict of interest.

Thrilled to share our new study on CAFs and NK cells, now online 🌟 in CD!! NK cells are ideal candidates for cancer killing since they don't need antigen specificity. But they are usually not active in tumors. We wondered whether this could be due to inhibition by CAFs 🧵👇
