This afternoon we continued learning all about Christianity. We talked about Lent and Shrove Tuesday and enjoyed an art session making a stain glass cross. We’ve had a very busy but fun day and I am so proud of everyone in R2 Inspire Academy Inspire RE Inspire Art

Y4 have had a wonderful RE & Art day where our focus was Hinduism. We had a visitor from a local Hindu Temple, created fact files from our own research, found out facts about Hindu Gods & Goddesses then created our own Rangoli patterns. Inspire RE Inspire Art

Yesterday we had a whole school RE and Art day. In KS1 we had a visitor in to tell us all about Islam & the five pillars, then we completed various tasks including researching the religion, finding out about Eid & creating Islamic Art 😀 Inspire Art Inspire RE Inspire Academy

6A had a wonderful time during our Inspire Art and Inspire RE day. They learned about Passover from our fantastic visitor; they explored Rosh Hashanah, making cards and tasting traditional foods; they researched Jewish artefacts and they created decorative Stars of David.
