Today in groups, we started our sculpture. They are based on the work of Antony Gormley's, Angel of the North. Over the coming weeks, colour will be added and they'll be displayed in our KS2 corridor.

Today for #BritishScienceWeek #Year3 have looked at how #sailboats work! We learnt about the keel and the sail and how they balance each other out and stop the boat from falling over! Y4 Forest School. The children made dough which they then wrapped around sticks to cook over the fire to make bannock bread. After this they used saws, knives & secateurs to craft spinning tops which they raced against each other. Such a fun, creative learning time for all!

Cherry Blossom Class enjoyed exploring levers in science. The children made and tested catapults, changing one of the variables (such as the position of the fulcrum) to investigate how it affected how far or high the load was projected! Victorious Academies Trust
