Very sad to hear of the passing of Les Twentyman.

A staunch voice for youth in the West and for all those doing it tough.

Les always called out the wider implications of ignoring disadvantage and inequality.

The West has lost a true champion. RIP 💔

Vale Linda White. I fought alongside Linda for decades at Australian Services Union She was a fierce advocate for working people, dedicated & incredibly hard working. Aviation workers benefitted enormously from her leadership as well as winning equal pay for community workers. Rest in peace.

Her community in Melbourne’s Sth East truly embraced her and knew she was fiercely in their corner.

Thinking of her partner and family tonight and all those across the community who loved her.

For the first time ever women make up half of the Victorian Parliament.

Now when school groups visit, they can look out from the galleries and see chambers that are truly representative of men and women.

To celebrate, we invited all women MPs for a photo to mark the occasion.

Tonight I had the honour of representing Jacinta Allan and Ingrid Stitt MP at the lighting of the Diwali candle at Federation Square.

There’s some roar-some news at Werribee Open Range Zoo, with the birth of three healthy lion cubs.

We’ve released another 20 captive-bred Helmeted Honeyeaters into the wild with Zoos Victoria 🎉🐤
They join an existing group of roughly 26 birds that have established in almost 3-years in the beautiful Yarra Ranges National Park.
