Someone please explain it to me clearly how there's a shortage of workers in Trades, when real wages for workers in trades have seen broad declines? This is why we teach economics in high school, so folks can examine actual data, and not anecdotes from their Uncle Fester.

We should build a whole lot of 6-plexes like this And something that it looks like it fits into a single family neighborborhoods Traditional architecture and masonry (though certainly more expensive) would really help.

The Rust Belt to the Midwest is America’s “Snack Belt” where you’ll find most of the best candy and chips. They’re exclusively from companies that are 120 years old and have barely functioning websites.

I got to see Montréal Metro’s brilliant interchange stations and tracks in action (each line splits to serve both station levels. Most transfers can be made by simply crossing the platform, no need to walk up/down stairs).

The cargo bike revolution is definitely reaching Indianapolis. Several of my neighbors on the East side take their kids to/from school on cargo bikes and they are ubiquitous at major in-city events like this.
