Workers at Murowa Diamonds downed tools today over non payment of their wages. Whilst the workers have been religiously meeting their production targets, the employer has defaulted on salaries. We demand the workers be paid their dues NOW.

The Kimberley Process plenary kicks off in Victoria Falls on the 6th of November. Murowa Diamonds will likely divert attention from the KP plenary to its failure to remunerate workers. The KP is increasingly opening up to labor and community grievances. Murowa Must Pay!
