Optimize for joy, over happiness. Joy is simpler, it lives in the small moments of immediate feedback. Laughing, smiling.

Read more fiction. I've read >100 books on company building, self-help, management, you name it. They have their place in my journey as a founder but nothing compares to the divergent thinking good fiction will inspire.
