For years, if you saw the rainbow flag up somewhere, queer people knew they would be safe there.

Now? Is it safe? Or does that person support the NHS - and want to send you to it?

Here's the thing: most people go 'oh, ok, right then, fair enough' about being trans.

Hatred is whipped up by the media instead, feeding them disinformation to depict trans people as sinister caricatures. When folk actually know trans people, those lies are easily disproven.
