BMJ just posted this systematic evidence review of 63 studies. It found "a lack of evidence supporting any association of e-cigarette use with cardiovascular disease." That cuts out 36% of all smoking-related deaths. Seems like something people who smoke would want to know.

Smoking among Oregon 18–24 yr olds fell 75.8% since 2007 📉 Vaping didn’t fuel smoking — it coincided with historic declines. But sure, let’s keep the prohibition playbook going while cashing tobacco checks. 🙄 👉 thr101.org/oregon #ORLeg #PublicHealth

World Health Organization (WHO) What safeguards do YOU have in place to ensure World Health Organization (WHO) messages contain no false information? Honest question. I served as a Senior Advisor to WHO for 3 years. I'm not a dim bulb. I am aware of NUMEROUS WHO tobacco control messages that were demonstrably false. Want examples?

Does Trump Intend to Keep His Promise to Save Vaping? President Trump promised to save vaping, but his FDA has so far done exactly the opposite -- denying PMTAs, seizing shipments, and demonizing vape shops. ow.ly/yyAe50WyORV

What's even nastier than people who still smoke? That would be people who ostracize and belittle people who still smoke as a means to make them quit. It's 2025, and there are far more attractive options for those who smoke, but also for those who don't.

Interesting that they create a problem, that doesn't exist, to maintain relevance in spite of the HARM that their misinformation causes and will continue to cause.
