Yes, the next episode of The Imposter will be the series finale. 1st thing to say is THANK YOU to Aliya Pabani, a major talent & a totally unique voice in podcasting. Best interviewer in Canada IMO. Proud to publish her & hope CANADALAND will make another show w/ her if she'll have us x.com/IMPSTR/status/…
So It’s the final week of The Imposter, the podcast I gave my last 2 years to. It was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done bc I came in green and had to learn in public. In retrospect, I’m grateful for the space to experiment, and I’m proud of what we made x.com/IMPSTR/status/…
The Imposter This hurts a little. The Imposter was one of the few pods for which I would make sure I was fully distraction free before listening. Aliya Pabani you are a gem and I will be following your next move intently. Good luck. Sorry for CANADALAND ‘s loss 😫
All the love Aliya Pabani 🙏🏾♥️ long live The Imposter 💦 x.com/aliyapabani/st…
Thanks to The Imposter team, Aliya Pabani and all who made it possible over the last while -- sad to see you go! One of my favourite episodes, and also one of earliest episodes I listened to, was the Indigenous New Wave, with RevolutionsPerMinute+: canadalandshow.com/podcast/indige… Made a fan out of me! x.com/IMPSTR/status/…
Aliya Pabani and the rest of the team have created something original and unique, where each episode felt like a small piece of art, experimenting with different subjects and the medium, covering compelling artists and stories.
Last episode ever! Aliya takes to the Second City stage to perform her final stand-up set in this live-podcast-meets-The-Voice mashup featuring comedy and criticism from judges Nick Nemeroff & Bearack_Obama with a live score by Johnny Spence bit.ly/2NlAAL7
Congrats to Jeremy Dutcher for getting on that Polaris Music Prize shortlist! Listen to Jeremy talk about turning wax cylinder recordings of his ancestors into "Indigenous classical" compositions in this funny and illuminating interview from last June canadalandshow.com/podcast/pity-c…
Getting caught up on my podcasts. Didn’t realize The Imposter was over. Thank you Aliya Pabani for introducing me to Jeremy Dutcher, ᓰᐱᐘᐣ, some other new favourite people, and for making me laugh and think. It was a great run.
“New and noteworthy” — the festival favourite and beautiful film #UnarmedVerses by Charles Officer / Canesugar Filmworks, lea marin and team at the National Film Board of Canada is new and noteworthy on iTunes — watch it now and then tell your cinephile friends. They’ll thank you.
