Marion County: Beginning Monday, May. 6 at 7 a.m., pavement repairs on I-57 from 0.7 miles north of Illinois 161 to the Fayette County line will require lane closures. One lane will remain open. The work is expected to be completed by mid-June. idot.click/u6h

Will County: Beginning Monday, May 6, inspections on the I-80 bridges over the Des Plaines River will require lane closures between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Inspections are expected to be complete by May 17. A minimum of two lanes will remain open. idot.click/u6h

Major projects in the Metro East are planned or underway, fueled by Governor JB Pritzker's #RebuildIllinois . Twenty major projects combined represent a total investment of nearly $825M, with 11 projects scheduled to be completed in 2024 and remaining nine completed from 2025 to 2028.

The new #McClugageBridge is officially out of the river, with the substructure completed and the arch in its final resting place. We're in the homestretch with an estimated completion in 2025. 👏
