While studying high-energy physics, researchers Centre for High Energy Physics, IISc have discovered a new series representation for the irrational number pi. This would enable scientists to rapidly converge on the value of pi for deciphering physical processes. iisc.ac.in/events/iisc-ph… #IIScresearch
New paper on capturing natural and human-caused variability of ET. We blend ET estimates using the Kalman filter to derive a global ET dataset with reduced uncertainty. Special thanks to Bramha Dutt Vishwakarma for introducing us to #GRACE and guiding this study. doi.org/10.1088/1748-9…
This work will always be special for me. This study originated from a classroom discussion & students worked diligently to capture irrigation signal in ET comprehensively by using remote sensing & Kalman filter. amazing team Interdisciplinary Centre for Water Research Subimal Ghosh Centre for Climate Studies, IIT Bombay IISc Bangalore
