For Marina and her family, Sudan was a safe haven when they fled South Sudan years ago as their country was ravaged by conflict.

A few weeks ago, driven by fear, they had no choice but to flee in the opposite direction.

In 1 year, more than 8 million ppl have fled their homes.

Sudan's year-long conflict triggered widespread humanitarian needs, affecting millions and causing suffering. Psychological pain is evident as missing loved ones' absence intensifies during Eid.

Since April 2023 over half a million people fled the conflict in #Sudan to #SouthSudan mainly via Upper Nile. Thousands of them arrived in remote parts of Bahr-El-Ghazal in dire condition.
We recently provided food & other items to 17,760 people to help them restart their lives.
