Why do we stay neutral in conflict zones?

Our organization was established under the Geneva Conventions, the most widely ratified treaties in the world with 196 countries signatories.

Today our mission remains the same: to help and protect people caught up in war and violence.

Matiullah suffers from cerebral palsy ( CP), a health condition that affects body movement. He is being treated at @ICRC_Af’s physical rehabilitation centre in #Helmand . Like Matiullah, more than 400 people affected by CP received treatment in this centre between Jan – March.

Our teams in #Gaza are working alongside local service providers to give people access to clean water by maintaining & enhancing water infrastructure.

This joint effort helps +1,000,000 people in and around Gaza City have safe drinking water.
