Those carrying out life-saving work should not have to be worrying about saving their own.

We mourn the death of another PRCS colleague.

Hospitals reduced to rubble. Humanitarian workers killed.

Each collapse on the system is another devastation for civilians.

Less access to aid. Less medical assistance. Less hope.

In Rafah, people have been displaced 4+ times.
There is a lack of:
· Food
· Safe water
· Sanitation
· Healthcare
· Shelter
· Safety
This reality needs to be kept in mind as the next steps in the conflict are devised and deployed.

| Out of a population of 2.2 million people, over 1.6 million are now living in Rafah.

People face an alarming lack of food, not enough access to safe water & a lack of medical care. The needs are immense.

Civilians living in north have little access to medical services, shelter, or essential items.

The scenes our team witnessed in Gaza City only strengthens our call that more humanitarian assistance must be able to safely reach the north.

Countless lives depend on it.

Healthcare workers save lives.

Under international humanitarian law, hospitals, healthcare workers, and ambulances must be allowed to perform their crucial roles.

Five months into the escalation of hostilities, which began with the horrific events in Israel on 7 Oct, the situation in the Gaza Strip degenerates by the hour. There is no safe place.

The civilian death toll and the ongoing captivity of hostages are shocking and unacceptable.
