Finished my deck beam exercise today. Pretty happy with the result minus a few gaps (🟧). First attempt and completed in 8½ working days which I am pleased with. Then started on what will be a laminated knee by making the early stages of the pattern #joinery #boatbuilding #skills

This is one of the student-built laminated knees being fixed into the upturned hull of the CMB under construction in @boathouse_4. This 40ft vessel - almost exclusively constructed by volunteers - will be a fully-functioning replica #WW1 motor torpedo boat. 💪 #heritage #history
