Privileged to stand with the Shankill community today as we remember the terrible atrocity of 23rd October 1993 and the innocent lives lost.

Thank you everyone for your support today as I announced my move to Cooperation Ireland. This was a tough decision, but there is a fantastic team Commission for Victims and Survivors (NI) who will continue to advocate for victims & survivors and I will do everything in my new role to support them.

Useful evidence session Northern Ireland Affairs Committee highlighted the need to improve communication and streamline the victim payment scheme. Also encouraged them to write to Chris Heaton-Harris to request removal of backdating deadline.

Delighted to record this Policy 360: Unplugged podcast reflecting on some of my expereiences as Victims & Survivors Commissioner. Apart from mixing up the difference between a Bill and Act I think it went ok. open.spotify.com/episode/64iQtH…

What a week! I knew Co-operation Ireland Ireland were making a big difference in many different areas but after 5 days on the job, I have only seen a tiny proportion of their work and the impact they are making. Looking forward to sharing some of this work over the coming months.

Brussels visit finished - two days, nine meetings ranging from UK Government officials, Irish MEPs, the European Economic & Social Committee and the Office of the NI Executive in Brussels. Good exchange of views and demonstration of need to have constructive relationship with EU
